Learning from a Real-Life Superhero

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Danny grew up watching his father work tirelessly as a mover.
“My dad was like a superhero,” he recalls. “Everyone respected his strength, his work ethic, and his heart. He could carry anything—and he never gave up.”

Danny and his brother, Manny, were inseparable. As kids, they dreamed big—pretending to run a company from their childhood home.
While others spent summers on vacation, the Cavalie brothers were on moving trucks with their father, learning the trade firsthand.

Even then, Danny showed early leadership. He would split his pay with friends he invited to help, making sure everyone earned something and enjoyed the work.

A New Path Through Military Service

After high school, Danny enrolled at Brown-Mackie College. However, in his third semester, life shifted. He was called into military service at just nineteen.

“That moment changed everything,” he says.

Danny joined the Special Activities Center (SAC). He completed missions around the globe—working in foreign military intelligence and black ops. He trained alongside elite forces in the U.S., Panama, and Colombia, earning medals for his service.

This experience shaped his resilience, discipline, and leadership. These values would become the foundation for what came next.

Even during military leave, Danny always came back to what he knew best—moving.

Eventually, after a major contract fell through, he and Manny made a bold decision:
They would build something of their own. From that moment, ManCav Movers was born.
